We build Eco friendly exclusive cottages in the foothills of Kumaon
For those of us who lead the ever hectic life of the metropolis, it is often nostalgic to think about the simple days of our own childhood. The freedom we enjoyed after we got back from school or during our vacation of climbing trees, eating freshly plucked fruit, running around vast open spaces…. it feels like so far away. The apartment living of the current take something away from the times we once knew and fondly reminisce. Having a place away from the bustle and the heat of the city is a welcome thought to anyone who longs for those simple days for us …… and more importantly for our children and the times we look forward to when we have less to do daily, in retirement.
Investing in a summer home is a big decision to make for anyone. There are many factors that go into making such a decision. Of late, builders have cut down pristine forest land to build large colonies even in the mountains. What they offer are small, crowded apartments, and homes and cottages that look like they are a part of a colony in the NCR area. There is very little privacy, in fact, the very reason why one would even consider having a summer home in the hills is often lost when you end up living in a colony comprised of tens and sometimes hundreds of such units.
We care about the mountains and so we try and maintain the natural contours of the land as much possible so as not to disturb the balance of nature. We also plant a lot of trees in and around our communities to give it a cozy look and feel. Our communities consists of cottages in a rustic setup where they are in a cluster of 3 to 10 rather than developing huge colonies giving it an urban feel. We stay true to the spirit of why you would want a summer home, to be one with nature, to read a book while looking over the snow covered peaks of Nanda Devi, to take your picnic basket along a running brook or to make an apple pie with fresh apples just plucked from the tree.
Our first project is in Saliyacot about 6km from Mukteshwar in Nainital district. This colony of cottages called “Whispers” (by Chalet) consists of two rustic homes with stone and wood finish with beautiful view of the Nanda Devi snow covered mountains and a range of green tree mountains in the back drop of Almora. It’s a home away from home for those looking for a get away into the serenity and peace of nature. It takes you so close to being one with the nature that the ultimate experience is a pure bliss. We put our heart and soul into building each individual cottage so that once you step in, it feels you belong. We also keep in mind the comfort that one needs in spite of being in the arms of nature, so this colony will have a 3 phase electricity connection, water supply and is connected to the road.
Land with clear titles
We provide land with clear titles for sale in Kumaon foothills. One of the challenges of buying and selling land in Uttrakhand is knowing the rules and regulations of the state. There are enough self claimed agents that will take you for a ride only to land you in a dispute. We experienced this first hand when we built our own cottage. We will guide you appropriately by showing you the titles, khata numbers of the land on sale so that there is no conflict later.
Customize to your liking
Apart from selling land we customize cottages to your preferences. Our architects and contractors will work closely with you to give the layout, look and feel you desire. This option works out for people who travel to the mountains anyway or are willing to take out time to work along with our architect and contractor,this requires a little effort on their part but the cottage is exactly what you dreamt of.
